The ultimate vintage BMX reunion, entitled Dirtyfest 3 occurred June 6-8, 2025, in Temecula, California at the Vailocity Bike Park.
Dirtyfest isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of BMX’s golden years, conceived by the visionary crew behind the Dirtyfest Podcast. Spearheaded by BMX legends Hollywood Mike Miranda, JV James Vicente, and EC Eric Carter, this festival is a tribute to the sport’s heyday, bringing together friends, family, and fans for an unforgettable weekend.
The vision of the gathering is to let past and current BMX enthusiasts and legends get together to talk about the latest technologies, share current and past stories. and in short, enjoy and to keep the spirit of BMX alive!
CEW is well entrenched in the BMX world through decades of success with market leading brands such as Skyway® and Tuff Wheel®, plus a host of other innovations to keep the BMX world rolling.
CEW’s own BMX Aficionado, Parrey Cremeans, attended the show. Parrey stated, “this was a great opportunity to take ourselves back to our roots. Old school BMX is where Skyway® made its name in the bicycle world. There were around 3,400 attendees, and I do not believe there was a single person that did not recognize and appreciate Skyway’s sponsorship as well as the Skyway Tuff Wheel® donations for the raffle”.
One thing that has not changed in over 50 years is bikes on the track still are cooler with mags. Even Niek Kimmann, the reigning Olympic champion who took a spin around the track, picked a bike owned by up and comer Danny “Red Mags Waters” with red mags. Skyway will be doing what is we can to make sure Danny has red mags on all his bikes.
Skyway® is already looking forward to DF4 (Dirtyfest 4). Hollywood tells us he hopes to get 4,500 plus in attendance for 2026. Parrey continued, “the location in Temecula, California is to a T what we experienced through the late 1970’s into the 1980’s in BMX. I know I will be attending in 2026”.
