Essential Job Duties

  • Basic Hydraulic / Pneumatic / Electrical / Plumbing Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in use hand tools
  • Read and Understand Hydraulic / Pneumatic diagrams for use in maintenance activities
  • Read and Understand electrical schematic ( Low – High voltage ) for use in maintenance activities
  • Ability to use basic electrical tools – amp meter, volt meter
  • Ability to use measurements instruments – Caliper & Micrometer
  • Proven ability to maintain organized, neat work areas and accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Forklift Certified
  • Ability to perform basic Preventive Maintenance of ALL Equipment
  • Understanding of injection presses with ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Knowledge in change EOAT and start up FANUC robots – Need to be certified by Maintenance manager
  • Basic Welding and Fabrication skills validated and demonstrated on specific project
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair ALL secondary equipment (AMM, BBM, etc.) for mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to read Injection Molding Machine prints and schematics
  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of Material Handling System and all components and ability to train others
  • Ability to construct and repair all EOAT
  • Active ownership of at least (1) Workstation Expectation area
  • Basic understanding of Robots with ability to trouble shoot programing and equipment itself
  • Ability to properly communicate and conduct Safety Training activities for team. (LOTO, Fall Protection, PPE)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of PLC programming (AB and Festo)
  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of Electrical, Water & Chiller System and all components, along with ability to train others on basic functionality and troubleshooting of these systems
  • Detailed understanding of Robots with ability to perform programming changes along with training others to do the same
  • Proven ability to run all injection molding equipment with a solid foundation of processing capability
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the implementation of HMI
  • Demonstrated ability to create, record proper LOTO procedures on equipment
  • Demonstrated application of Advanced Injection Molding Processing Skills
  • Ability to perform all Advanced Preventive Maintenance of all Equipment and proven ability to train others on basic PM requirements
  • Advanced Welding and Fabrication skills demonstrated through specific project completion
  • Documented participation in at least (1) Continuous Improvement Event annually
  • Demonstrated advanced PLC programing capabilities
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of PLC programming (AB and Festo)
  • Demonstrate ability to remove, put and take dimensions of the 2 major components of the injection presses:
    1.- Screw
    2.- Barrel
    3.- Check ring
